Solution

New employee or room change whose voicemail is not set up

Step 1: Dial 6999/voicemail button (whichever you have)

Step 2: Security code is 0000

Step 3: Follow verbal commands

** Always dial 6999/voicemail button to access messages

Accessing voicemail from other district phones

Step 1: Dial 6999

Step 2: Punch #9 and the extension you are retrieving messages from

  1. Step 3: (Example: If your extension is 6060, dial 6999/voicemail button. When connected, immediately dial #96060, then it will ask for your security code.
Checking voicemail from a non-district phone

Step 1: Dial 830-627-6999

Step 2: Punch #9 and the extension you are retrieving messages from. (Refer to example above)

Step 3: Enter security code

Security code which does not work

Step 1: Place a work order in helpdesk.nbisd.org with all required information

Step 2: Once reset, you will receive an email confirmation.
